1. Describe why it is important to include branches in programs.

• Allow you to create different routes that your program can go without using the computer
• This produces more choices that you can make while setting up your robo pro and building your fischertechnik models

2. Describe an everyday application of a normally open switch that has not been given as an example.

• A everyday application of a normally opened switch are water lines to a house.
• Water is constant pumped into the house until you turn the switch on the pump that brings water into the house

3. Describe an everyday application of a normally closed switch that has not been given as an example.

• A fan is an example of a everyday application of a normally closed switch.
• It is usually closed and is open when it's hot in a room by flipping a switch.
